Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1958. Served as a special agent in Counter Intelligence Corps. Member, American Bar Association; Maryland State Bar Association (criminal law & practice section council, 1990-, past chair; criminal subcommittee of pattern jury instruction committee, 1990-); Baltimore City Bar Association; The Selden Society. Lecturer (constitutional & criminal law) American Academy of Judicial Education, National Judicial College, National College of District Attorneys, and other organizations.
