Under the Department of Inspections and Permits, the Permit Center originated as the Permit Application Center, and adopted its present name by 2022.
COMMERCIAL LICENSING DIVISION
Licensure for taxicabs, building trades (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc), and amusement and fundraising games (such as bingo) is managed by the Commercial Licensing Division. The Division also issues space permits for mobile homes.
