University of Baltimore, B.A. (jurisprudence), cum laude; University of Baltimore School of Law, J.D., 1977; Drug Enforcement Administration Agents Course; Undercover Drug Course, Maryland State Police. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1977. Attorney. Member, Maryland State Bar Association; Maryland State's Attorneys' Association. Former chair, Carroll County Republican Central Committee. Member, Post 467, Veterans of Foreign Wars; Vietnam Veterans of America; National Rifle Association; Post 31, Westminster, American Legion; Sykesville Lodge #1848, Fraternal Order of the Moose. Superintendent's Commendation, Maryland State Police, 1997. Died in Westminster, Maryland, November 29, 2014.
