HOUSING COMMISSION
The Commission consists of seven members appointed to five-year terms by the County Executive with County Council consent. From among its members the Commission annually selects the Chair and Vice-Chair (County Code, secs. 13.1301 through 13.1322).

Established in 1990, the Housing Commission develops and manages housing for low- and moderate-income County residents, and develops affordable housing with developers, and federal, State and County agencies. It also runs the County Housing Choice Voucher Program.
HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM
The Housing Choice Voucher Program supports low-income residents by enabling them to select affordable housing that meets their individual needs.
