Delegate, representing Prince George's County, District 1, Constitutional Convention of Maryland, 1967-68. Presidential Elector, Maryland, 1972. Director of Licenses and Permits, Prince George's County, 1979. Alternate member, Maryland Potomac Water Authority.

Assistant Director for Management, Haiti, U.S. Agency for International Development, 1982-85.

Born in Springfield, Illinois, October 11, 1922. Served in U.S. Army Air Corps, World War II (B17 pilot, based in England, flew bombing runs over German, took part in firebombing of Dresden). Washington University, St. Louis, B.S. (chemistry), 1948. Chemical engineer. Metallurgical projects manager, Diamond Shamrock Corporation. President, Chicago Development Corporation, a metallurgical research firm, Riverdale, Maryland. Employed by Dynalectron Corporation, an engineering firm. Married; four children, two stepchildren, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Died in Gloversville, New York, September 24, 2015.
