Board of Trustees, Delmarva Firemen's Association (past treasurer & past secretary). Past president, Marion Volunteer Fire Department (past chief); Somerset Firemen's Association (past secretary); Somerset County Fire Police (treasurer); Eastern Shore Volunteer Firemen's Association (past treasurer); Marion Lions Club. Hall of Fame Award, Maryland State Firemen's Association, 2001. Two daughters, three grandsons.
