Law clerk to Judge Alexander Holtzoff, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, 1957-59. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1958; District of Columbia Bar. Private pratice, 1960-75. Partner, Mannes, Meyers, Nadonley, Townsend and O'Brien, 1975-81. Member, American Bar Association; Maryland State Bar Association; Montgomery County Bar Association (president, 1981). Member, National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (president, 1992-93); American Bankruptcy Institute; American Inns of Courts. President, Dartmouth Club of Washington, 1968-69. Daniel Webster Award for Distinguished Public Service, Dartmouth Club of Washington, 1989. Died in Bethesda, Maryland, January 20, 2016.
